LEMON PEPPER CHICKEN WINGS

Ingredients

CHICKEN WINGS

2 lbs. chicken drummettes, patted dry

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 tsp. lemon pepper

1/2 tsp. smoked paprika

LEMON PEPPER GLAZE

2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice

1 1/2 tsp. lemon zest

1 Tbsp. butter

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

SERVE WITH

4 cups Lipton® Diet Green Tea with Citrus

Method

  1. For CHICKEN WINGS, preheat oven to 375°. Line rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Place chicken in large bowl . Add flour, lemon pepper seasoning, smoked paprika and salt to taste. Toss to coat chicken. Arrange chicken on prepared pan. Coat with cooking spray.

  3. Bake 20 minutes; turn chicken and coat with cooking spray. Bake 10 minutes longer.

  4. Meanwhile, to make LEMON PEPPER GLAZE, heat a saucepan on medium-high heat. Add lemon juice, lemon zest, butter and garlic powder and cook 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is incorporated.

  5. Remove chicken from oven and drizzle with GLAZE. Ensure all of the chicken is coated, if not, each wing won't have the lemon pepper. Add additional lemon juice if necessary to fully coat.

  7. AIR FRYER DIRECTIONS: Coat chicken as directed. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket. Coat with cooking spray. Air fry 15 minutes on 400°.

  8. Turn chicken and coat with cooking spray. Cook for an additional 5 minutes. Meanwhile make GLAZE as directed.

  9. Remove chicken from the air fryer and drizzle it with the Glaze. Ensure all of the chicken is coated. Add additional lemon juice if necessary to fully coat.

  10. Return the chicken to the air fryer. Air fry for an additional 3 to 4 minutes on 400° until chicken is thoroughly cooked.
