Rated 1 out of 5 by caa30813 from Needs more... "y'all". Dear Liptons, Born and raised Southerner here. I stumbled upon your Southern Sweet Iced Tea Mix and decided that I'd give it a try. Here we are in October and the temps are still in the 90s. So, I thought it would be nice to have sweet tea without committing to making an entire pitcher, and purchased your mix. Bless your hearts... (heavy sigh) I'm very sorry to tell you, but it tastes like mildly sweet brown water. It definitely needs more "y'all". I still love Liptons -- your brand and products -- always have, always will. Thank you for trying, but I will not be purchasing this 'flavor' again.

The package is cute and gets me in the mood to relax , and it simply tastes good . The only thing is that the powder to water portion always has to be a bit more than the instructions say to get a smooth flavor

Highly recommend to anyone that is craving the classic, but doesn't have the time to brew whole pitchers at a time.

Rated 1 out of 5 by KayeC from This Southerner is very disappointed I'm a nearly 70 yr old southern women born and bred whose made a lot of sweet tea and enjoyed a lot at other southern tables, so I know what southern tea should be like. This tea is not it. There's too much sugar and not enough tea. You shouldn't be able to easily read print through the tea!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Zack from The Best Instant Tea! This is the best instant tea I have ever tasted. Most of the selections available in my area have a lemon flavor, which I do not like. When I saw this on the shelf, I bought two without hesitation. It is better than expected. I will continue to buy this until they stop selling it. I really hope that doesn't happen in my lifetime. This has a really good southern sweet tea taste that I can't get enough of. Great job Lipton!

We buy this all the time and especially in the summer. It’s great to have around for cook outs. It’s very easy to fix as well, you just add as much powder as you want to fit your tasting.

It will also start to taste like the container after awhile. When I first open the container it's amazing. Otherwise not worth it, the price is outrageous also.
