Meet Our Scientific Experts​


Dr. Dubost oversees nutrition, regulatory affairs, labeling compliance, food safety and quality for the Americas. She is engaged with setting and executing the scientific strategy, including the research agenda for all ekaterra brands in the Americas.​​

Prior to joining ekaterra, Dr. Dubost was the Head of Nutrition & Health for North America at Unilever.  She was responsible for nutrition and health for all foods and refreshment categories and brands in North America, as well as leading external engagement, including food policy and advocacy.​

Prior to joining Unilever, she served as the Senior Director of Science and External Affairs at the Beer Institute. Prior to this role, she served as the Senior Director of Nutrition at the National Restaurant Association. Dr. Dubost was also previously employed as a Principal Scientist at PepsiCo Incorporated.She received a Ph.D. in food science from the Pennsylvania State University, a M.S. degree in food science at University of Georgia, and a B.S. in Nutrition and Chemistry at Hood College. Dr. Dubost is a Registered Dietitian and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Michigan Hospitals.

Gina Ruskie

At ekaterra, Gina is responsible for developing and executing Nutrition & Health related programs for Lipton, TAZO & Pukka that encourage simple, yet delicious and nutritious options as part of a balanced diet. This includes supporting product renovation and innovations, recipe development and brand communications online and in retail in addition to leading healthcare professional outreach.

Prior to joining ekaterra, Gina held various food & nutrition communication and marketing roles at Unilever, supporting a wide variety of iconic brands over the years such as Lipton, Knorr, Hellmann’s, Growing Roots, Sir Kensington’s, Maille, Country Crock, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter, Breyers, Sim-Fast, Skippy, Wishbone, Ragu, Bertolli and PF Chang’s Home Menu.

Prior to Unilever, Gina has worked in a variety of settings such as foodservice management, inpatient and outpatient nutrition counseling in several hospitals. She completed the Coordinated Program in Dietetics and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut.
