How to Make Lipton DIY Iced Tea

2 bags Lipton Green Tea with Mint

2 teaspoons cinnamon (or ginger, see chef's tip)

6 drops vanilla essence

2 cups boiled water

Juice of 1 orange

Handful of ice (cubes or crushed)



  1. In your mug, mix cinnamon with a little hot water (approx 2 tablespoon) to make a paste.
  2. Add vanilla essence.
  3. Boil water and allow to cool slightly. Add Lipton Green Tea with Mint tea bags to mug and brew for 1.5-2 minutes.
  4. Add orange juice to the brewed tea.
  5. Place in your shelf to cool.
  6. Serve in 12 ox high ball glass topped up with ice and garnish with a slice of orange.


Chef's tip: swap out cinnamon for ginger for a fresher taste.
