Just like café lattes, tea lattes are made with steamed milk. For a more classic flavor, use black tea. But if you fancy something a little different, you could try Lipton® Enticing Chai or Earl Grey teabags for a more delicate taste.
What you'll need
3 cups apple juice
6 Lipton® Cup Size Tea Bags
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup brandy (optional)
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
In 2-quart saucepan, heat juice just to a boil. Remove from heat and add Lipton® Cup Size Tea Bags. Cover and brew 5 minutes. Remove Tea Bags and squeeze. Stir in remaining ingredients. Garnish, if desired, with clove-studded apple slices.
Add the teabag of your choice to a cup.
Boil the water, then pour it over the teabag.
Let the tea steep for at least 5 minutes to get the strongest flavor possible.
While your tea is brewing, heat a half cup of milk either by microwaving for 45 seconds (settings vary between machines) or by heating in a pan until it’s steaming.
Transfer the hot milk to a jug and use a milk frother to get that extra-fluffy, foam effect. The desired amount should be about ½ inch thick on top of the milk.
Remove the infuser or teabag from your cup and pour in the milk.
Add an optional dash of honey or sugar for extra sweetness.
