Sustainable Agriculture is a term for growing crops, including tea, profitably without hurting people and the environment, now and in the future. Tea growing has enabled long-term stable social systems to develop. The practical need for close links between grower and tea processing factories has enabled local communities to protect and improve their wellbeing and environment. On the one hand, rural communities are dependent on sustainable local agriculture, and on the other, the growers need healthy, well-educated people to work on their plantations. Through Sustainable Agriculture, we aim to make sure that everybody benefits.
